The 2022 NBA Finals have not been great for Draymond Green. He has been very ineffective in multiple games this series and he has been able to shake it. Green was even taken out late in game 4 as the Warriors mounted the comeback. Even his mom couldn’t believe what she was seeing from her son and she roasted him on Twitter. And the fans lost it.
Green had another bad game in game 4. He finished with 2 points,9 rebounds, and 8 assists. This may be the usual stat line Green puts up, but in the game, he wasn’t nearly effective. He wasn’t the defensive monster that we are used to seeing. And Kerr had enough as he pulled him out of the game.
Even his mom was tired and was being asked what’s wrong with her son. She said, “Please ppl stop asking me what’s wrong with Dray… I DONT KNOW! Maybe this is a CLONE! Lmbo WHERE IS THE Draymond that helped get us here!! Hmmmm I have never seen this either!”

Green needs to step up
Game 2 was Green’s best performance. He was involved from the start and brought emotion to the game. He was the Green we see every time out. But that was the only game, he has been at his best.
In the other games, he has been very ineffective. The Celtics don’t respect his shot and they dare him to shoot. Green is smart enough to not take the shot, but he has lost the confidence to even penetrate and dish it out. His finishing at the rim has disappeared and his turnovers are also up.

The Warriors need Green back to his best. The Celtics are one hell of a team and they are a matchup nightmare for the Warriors. So they need Green at his best in the last 3 games or clinching the title might be very difficult for the Warriors.
